Current status
No affiliate relationships are currently active. The gear directory on this site is informational only. No specific products have been tested, reviewed, or recommended. No affiliate links are currently present on this site.
Future affiliate relationships
BlackoutPrepping.com may in the future participate in affiliate advertising programs. When this occurs:
- Each affiliate link will be clearly labeled at the point of the link (e.g., "[Affiliate link]" or "This is an affiliate link").
- Any endorsement content (videos, reviews) that involves affiliate compensation will include a clear disclosure at the beginning of that content.
- This disclosure page will be updated to reflect active affiliate relationships.
What affiliate links mean
An affiliate link means that if you click the link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission from the retailer at no additional cost to you. Affiliate commissions help support the cost of maintaining this site.
Affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial recommendations. We will only recommend products we believe are genuinely useful for preparedness purposes. We will disclose when we have not personally tested a product.
FTC compliance
This disclosure is intended to comply with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255). We are committed to transparency about any material connections between this site and product or service providers.
This site is operated by Jeremy Horton. Questions about FTC compliance requirements for your specific situation should be reviewed with qualified legal counsel.
